Our forebears are long buried
But deep down
The nefarious
Consciousness
Of their tormentor
Still stirs
In unsettling motions
Having twisted itself
Into our lineage

The tainted
Only heed the
Devious tongues
Which confine them
To wretchedness
As damnable servants

Keeps writhing inside
Each of us from birth

An old pain
Is bestowed
Upon us

Will claim us all
Blood will tell

A shadow
That is striding
Between worlds
Unseen by mortal eyes
Is sowing madness

To harness the anguish
Which will have amassed
Throughout centuries

Aching with the
Weight of guilt
Embedded within our flesh
The breath that we draw
Weary with despair

An unsightly beast
